somehow, this tiny plant is surviving.

it’s growing. maybe even thriving.

in this moment, in this time, despite all the challenges it has faced, it is facing, it will face, despite all it does not know, it persists – growing in the top rail of the fence that spans the river.

this tiny plant is grabbing on to life. and living it.

and so should we.

Speaking of “potato,” I harvested a few Pontiac Red potatoes from our garden, but I am too afraid to cook them because they might be too tough. Besides, they look so cool just the way they are! -cris

I love this! Please post pictures of this every year so we can see how it’s doing. You say it’s an a fence spanning the river. I am trying to imagine that does a fence actually go from one side of the river to the other? I would like to see a photo of that too.

Purchased this online last night. HAHA!

Hi Lydia! ❤️ The fence is part of a bridge that spans the river. I will keep an eye on it to see if this little plant keeps on growing. I love its spirit! I wish I could see the photo you posted….it doesn’t show up. Perhaps email it to me? Hugs to you!!
